Time means nothing when you're working on something you care about. This album took a lifetime in ways. We didn't realize we were making an album throughout this process, we have always just focused on the songs first. We've always prioritized making music over shows, over merchandising, over social media. We’ve been friends and collaborators for years and our priorities have shifted over time but the one thing we have never ceased doing was making music. No deadlines, no caring what other people think, no restriction. At times this was our undoing but in hindsight we were just in love with creating regardless of how it was received or how many people it was received by. We are not a band of guys climbing into a van and touring our years away, we are a sect of creatives who get together in our caves in an attempt to conjure something out of nothing. Like a gathering of moths searching for light in the dark.
